The Radical Inclusive City - talks

offers a completely different perspective on the city of the future

Climate change and ecological degradation require a way different approach to urban design. The city, its inhabitants, and urban ecology are suffering from temperature rise, drought, sea level rise, and land subsidence. Further climate and future-proofing our cities is a necessity and requires more than nature-inclusive thinking and action.

This evening, we are bringing together designers, architects, artists, philosophers, activists, ecologists, and urban planners considering designing the city with connections between different ecosystems in mind, aiming for a natural balance. The focus extends beyond humans, considering all life as fundamental in (re)shaping the city.

Speakers are: Glenn Albrecht (philosopher/ activist), Theun Karelse (artist), Restor.Eco / Mick Santos, Green Quays / Harold van den Broek (landscape architect), Cruydt-Hoeck / Jojanneke Bijkerk en Jasper Helmantel.

Moderator is Bahram Sadeghi.
