BACKROOM LABEL MONTHS

___It’s summertime and we all feel the need of spending joyful moments together, so we organize our 2nd Backroom Label. Here you find great prototypes and samples collection Art & Design pieces for lower prices. Transience Mirrors, Trap Lights, Gravity stools etc. are all part of this unique Backroom period of 3 months. If you got less to spend, love our Art & Design, this is your chance. We even give some for free, read more about it below.

At the same time you can enjoy the exhibition Visual Vibrations. Visual Vibrations shows remarkable art and design projects in which sound and light are visualized or (re)produced in form.

These Backroom Label Months are accompanied by a special treat: Transience Me. You can own a Transience mirror designed by Lex Pott and David Derksen for free. Say what?

We challenge you to make the best (oxidized) mirrored face or body portrait. How?
Shoot the picture, post & tag it #TransienceMe and win a sample Transience Mirror by Lex Pott and David Derksen. If you have one already just post and tag it. Winner will be announced 26 Sept (opening Playing Life exhibition)

LIVING MATTER(S) IN MILAN

___Transnatural Label & Lab presents the Living Matter(s) exhibition combined with its Art and Design collection at the Salone in Ventura Lambrate in Milan.

Living Matter(s) gives an insight in techniques to work with ‘life’ in materials and objects as a form of new craftsmanship. Living Matter(s) shows a.o. objects grown from fungus in a process similar to natural 3D printing, ivory made from recycled teeth, to synthetic biological breathing leaves that refresh polluted air. Get inspired by these new insights in using living matter(s) in art & design.

The exhibition starts its journey after the launch in Amsterdam. The projects and the exhibtion itself transform or grow during several presentation periods in Amsterdam and Milan.
